Kool 97 FM and BBC London 94.9 Simulcast
The Dennis Emanuel Brown Trust greatly appreciates the collaboration between Kool 97 FM and BBC
Radio London 94.9 FM for the forthcoming special simulcast on 1st February 2003 - Dennis
Emanuel Brown's 46th birthday.
We are confident that audiences both here in Jamaica and in the UK will enjoy this part
of our popular culture - the musical legacy of the Crown Prince of Reggae, the late
Dennis Emanuel Brown.
This cultural exchange will present a rich experience that audiences on both sides of the
Atlantic will find stimulating, enlightening and entertaining. Jamaicans at home and
abroad are extremely proud that the influential works of one of Jamaica's favourite sons
is being given such an international forum.
The programme, to be presented by Patrick Lafayette, Ranking Miss P and Tony
'Paleface' Hendricks, will be broadcast live between:
5pm - 7pm Kool 97 FM
10pm - 12 midnight BBC London 94.9 FM
Listen to the first 30 minutes
UK Launch - July 2003
The Dennis E Brown Trust plans to organise a media launch in order to familiarize the
UK public with the functions, targets and achievements of the Trust to date. This
opportunity will also provide a vehicle in which new alliances can be formed, and just
as importantly to show our appreciation to UK-based companies who have been our benefactors
since the Trust's inception.
